Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC):

California Northstate University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 985 Atlantic Avenue, #100, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001. The Clinical Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) Program has full WSCUC approval.

 

Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE):

In accordance with the provisions of California Education Code 94866 or 94890, the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education has approved California Northstate University, LLC to offer the Psy.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology. View the approval

 

American Psychological Association (APA)

We will begin the APA process this year and we anticipate submitting our application to APA at the earliest possible date. 

It is the goal of the College of Psychology that we will obtain APA accreditation by 2021 - before our first class is applying for internships.
