The CNU Doctor of Psychology Degree Program has been awarded Accredited, on contingency status by the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation1.
This status is available to new programs and is considered APA accredited. Per the APA’s website, “If you complete a program that is recognized as accredited, on contingency effective before your graduation date, you will have completed an APA accredited program.”
This status is effective beginning April 11, 2021 and was granted until April 11, 2026. In the spring of 2024, the program will be reviewed for full accreditation status.
In their official letter granting us accreditation, the APA recognized several outstanding qualities of our program, including:
- the quality of training provided by the program
- our commitment to maintaining a collegial atmosphere in which all persons are treated in an ethical and respectful manner
We are thrilled to share this news with you and excited to join the ranks of other quality clinical training programs with this accreditation.
We are still accepting application for this fall!
