American Psychological Association (APA):

In accordance with Section 6.D of the American Psychological Association (APA) Accreditation Operating Procedures (AOP), the Clinical Doctor of Psychology Program at CNU submitted its application for “Intent to Apply” designation in August, 2018. At its meeting in October, 2018, the APA Commission on Accreditation (CoA) reviewed our application and voted to provide public notice of the program’s intent to seek accreditation.

This designation by APA indicates that the Clinical Psy.D. Program at CNU has provided a systematic description of infrastructure and verified that essential elements are in place. The APA has provided feedback concerning our application for accreditation, which we will integrate into our official application for accreditation in fall, 2019.
