This Event:

Narcissists have long been some of our favorite villains in books, movies, and television. They are so easy to hate!

But what if almost everything you’ve heard about narcissism is wrong? What if the way we define, portray, and even diagnose narcissism is based on flawed data and fundamental misunderstandings about this disorder?

In this free virtual presentation, clinical psychologist and author Dr. Mark Ettensohn will discuss what narcissism really means and why our society is getting so much wrong about this much-maligned mental illness. Presented by Clinical Psychology and author, Mark Ettensohn, Psy.D.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Mark Ettensohn is a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of narcissism and related disorders. He is also the author of the book, Unmasking Narcissism: A Guide to Understanding the Narcissist in Your Life.

Dr. Ettensohn is the Asst. Dean of Student Affairs and Admissions for the College of Psychology at CNU. He is also a faculty member and teaches the Intervention: Psychodynamic course in the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) curriculum.
